Library Liaisons Introduction

Library Liaisons help connect their peers in the Residence Halls with Carmichael Library's resources, faculty, and staff.  If you are chosen to be a Library Liaison, here are some examples of what you will do:

  • Assist students in your Residence Hall with research and library resources
  • Connect students with a librarian at Carmichael when needed
  • Design library-related programs and displays in your Residence Hall
  • Represent the library at campus events

Before you get started as a Liaison, you'll get plenty of training from the librarians at Carmichael.  We'll also provide training sessions throughout the academic year to help you develop advanced research skills.  You'll be helpful to your peers and you'll be better at researching in your classes!
