SEC Filings
The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) requires publicly held companies to file discloser documents on a regular basis.  The Form 10-K , Form 10-Q and Form 8-K and other documents are available to the public on the SEC site.

Form 10-K filings

  • Audited
  • Annual
  • Only public companies required to file

Form 10-K provides a comprehensive overview of a company's business and financial condition and includes audited financial statements.  The 10-K is an audited annual form distinct from a company's annual report to shareholders.
To find a particular company's  10-K form search the EDGAR database.
